Founded in 2003 by designer Taja Dockendorf, Pulp+Wire is a graphic design, web and advertising firm based on creating fresh, compelling creative.Originally worOriginal, Compelling, Creativeking under the name T.Doc Creative Partners, the firm was created in direct response to a trend in the design and marketing fields that largely removed the client from the design process. Seeing this as an increasingly frequent trend and wanting to work more in line with her creative ideals that put the client at the center of the process rather than removing them, a new take on creative communication was forged.

Our approach is simple: we focus on quality, refreshing creative and always keep an ear on the client. And we live and create by a few simple rules that enable us to bring compelling solutions to every project, regardless of scale or scope:


Clarity & Brevity:

Essential qualities in an already media-saturated landscape.

Humans are not overly-complex creatures. Unless you’re Stephen Hawking, and scientific anomalies rev your engine, simplicity always wins. As such, we believe in generating a clear and succinct message, so you don’t get lost in the shuffle.


Receptivity:

Open to ideas from all quarters, especially yours.

Teamwork makes the dream work and good ideas don’t grow on trees. But when you put several heads together and share a common goal, all of a sudden the magic wand turns into a flying dove. Look, the fact of the matter is that an open forum of creativity produces winning results, and we always welcome you to the party.

David, meet Goliath…Goliath, say hello to David. Now just substitute David with Pulp+Wire and you get the picture. Our in-house design and production team are more than capable of handling even the largest of challenges, like battling a giant Philistine warrior.

We know that impact is as much about aim as it is about force.

At the beginning of each day, we make sure to read eye charts, eat stupid amounts of carrots, and play a game of darts. Not because we like stuffing ourselves with vitamin A, or throwing small, slender missiles through the air, but because we like to know that our trajectory is always on point and that we can hit the bull’s eye. That’s a splashy metaphor to say that we honor the creative process and make sure your product’s intention aligns with solid results.
